Installation of home automation systems and domestic automation. The term ‘home automation’ or ‘domotics’ refers to technology that enables the automated control of routine domestic activities through a computerised system consisting of hardware and software. The technological advances offered over the last 15/20 years by miniaturisation, efficiency and progress in electronics make it possible to automatically manage the perfect functioning of a system. One of the simplest home automation systems can be represented, for example, by a lighting system that turns on when someone enters a room. However, there are much more complex systems that allow for the automation of aspects of life that were unthinkable just a few years ago, such as temperature control, load and lighting management, and various other operations. Among the advantages, it is worth noting the flexibility of the home automation system, which can take on different, modifiable functions.
In 2005, Tecnoelettrica had the opportunity to install the first VIMAR home automation system in a private residence in the province of Arezzo. Thanks to this experience, it can now boast numerous home automation systems installed, especially in KNX standard, for which we are certified installers.
