Tecnoelettrica builds industrial photovoltaic systems for the production of electricity for manufacturing plants, warehouses, logistics centres, farms and medium to large commercial facilities. Industrial photovoltaic systems convert solar energy into electricity that can be used directly to power production processes and business activities, reducing dependence on the traditional electricity grid and improving overall energy efficiency.
Industrial systems are advanced electrical systems consisting of high-efficiency photovoltaic modules, high-power inverters, optional storage systems and, in many cases, intelligent monitoring systems for production management and optimisation. Based on their configuration, we can distinguish three main types of industrial photovoltaic systems:
-
Stand-alone systems: used in isolated contexts or areas not connected to the electricity grid, they provide energy through storage systems and guarantee energy self-sufficiency.
-
Grid-connected systems: connected to the national electricity grid, they allow for self-consumption and the feeding of excess energy into the grid, using mechanisms such as net metering or direct energy sales.
-
Hybrid systems: these combine solar energy, the electricity grid and storage systems, managed by smart control units to ensure energy continuity and maximum efficiency even when solar production is low.
